Highlights of the 2023 International Olympic Informatics Competition

The International Olympiad in Informatics IOI2023 will be held in Szeged, Hungary from August 28th to September 4th local time. There are 360 contestants from 90 countries participating, including more than ten girls. The youngest one should be Guan Han Li, a sixth grade boy from New Zealand. He won the bronze medal and is sure to be a big shot in New Zealand in the future. In addition to traditional Hungarian songs and dances, the opening ceremony also featured speeches from IOI Chairman Benjamin and representatives from sponsors Acer, Huawei, and Jane Street. President Benjamin, a handsome man, is an Australian and told the world that his husband is Turkish. Jane Street's representatives are Ishraq and Sandor. Ishraq is the most outstanding figure in the history of IOI in Australia, having won two golds and one bronze medal (2013-2015), and was the team leader of Australia in 2018. Sandor is the author of The Art of Problem Solving, which is well-known among math and math enthusiasts. Huawei representatives speak in Chinese, and with money, one can be willful. Huawei sponsored 30 IOI experts and their parents from around the world in 2022, including one week of free airfare, hotel, dining, and sightseeing in Singapore, as well as a visit to Huawei's global R&D center.
