The three person team high school student programming competition held by the University of New South Wales offers generous prizes, with all six teams entering the Grand Final receiving bonuses. There are 5000, 2500, 1200, 600, 450, and 300 knives respectively. Winners who apply for any degree offered by the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales will also receive an additional AUD 3000 scholarship. The 2024 ProgComp Main Round competition will be held on Friday, June 14th from 2pm to 4pm at various high schools. Team registration will open on Monday, May 20th. The Grand Final will be held at UNSW University. Teacher J won first place in the 2023 Main Round, and missed the Grand Final due to his participation in the International Olympic Informatics Competition IOI in Hungary, but he also received a generous prize money.
